Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin and Ingrid Peignier presented the results of CIRANO 2018 Baromètre during a seminar held at Ouranos, at the 2018 Colloque sur la sécurité civile organized by Québec Ministère de la Sécurité publique and at the Centre for Sustainable Development.

A little more than 130 people, representatives of businesses, universities and research centers, and governments gathered for this day high-level conference. The purpose of the conference was to advance public policy and to gain a better understanding of good practices in innovation and research. Many issues were raised and solutions were proposed by the speakers.

Claude Montmarquette opened the 2018 Insurance and Investment Convention
tw Claude Montmarquette, Emeritus Professor in the Department of Economics at the Université de Montréal and CIRANO Fellow, presented on the theme of "In a world dominated by change, what should be the role of the adviser?" during this Convention on November 13, 2018 at Palais des congrès de Montréal.
