tw At the launch cocktail of the activities of the 25th anniversary of CIRANO on September 18, CIRANO and IVADO formalized their academic partnership. This partnership aims to foster the study and understanding of the socio-economic impacts of technological advances in data science.

CIRANO partner of the Disability, Employment, and Public Policies Initiative
tw Launched on September 21st, the Disability, Employment, and Public Policies research project aims to gain a better understanding of the dynamics of the labor force participation and job retention of individuals with disabilities. Several experts are working on this initiative including Charles Bellemare and Guy Lacroix, both CIRANO Fellows.

tw Marine Hadengue, post-doctoral researcher at CIRANO and at École polytechnique (France), has won three awards for her thesis entitled "L’innovation inverse: Vers un nouveau modèle d’innovation globale pour les entreprises" which was completed at Polytechnique Montréal under the direction of Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin (Polytechnique Montréal and CIRANO) and Thierry Warin (HEC Montréal and CIRANO).
