Biography

Marius Vigne holds a Master's degree in Management - Applied Economics from HEC Montréal. During his university career, he specialized in microeconomics, more specifically in labour economics. It is in this field of study that he wrote his master's thesis on the link between vocational training and the remuneration of Canadian workers. He also has a background in finance and has successfully completed the first two CFA exams.

Marius joined CIRANO in March 2020 where he collaborates on several research projects on the evolution of Canadian workers' skills and the use of new technologies by Canadian companies in which they deal with data processing. He also worked on the Québec économique 9 by helping to revise certain chapters.
