Biography

A CIRANO Researcher and Fellow since 2015, Patrick Richard is Full Professor in the Department of Economics at the Université de Sherbrooke.

Holding a Ph.D. in Economics from McGill University, his research focuses on the use of simulation methods for statistical inference and the estimation of random time series processes. He is also interested in the modeling of monetary phenomena as well as the analysis of the impact of monetary policy on real economic variables.
